Our Mission

HantaWatch raises global awareness of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS). We aggregate, geocode, and standardize outbreak reports to provide clear, actionable geographical tracking for public health benefit.

Autonomous Pipeline

Our system executes every 6 hours, scanning CDC Travel Notices, WHO Disease Outbreak News (DONs), ReliefWeb, and ProMED feeds. This keeps telemetry updated automatically.

Smart Geomerging

To eliminate duplicate markers and false positives, our system resolves location records using Nominatim geocoding and groups adjacent outbreak incidents in a 0.01-degree radius.

Verified Telemetry

All reports are collected from verified public health resources and official reports. If available, the source URLs are attached to the map pins for direct reference.
